Saturday morning and once again I'm planning a date with myself for tonight should it be the John Lennon biopic at the Cedar Lee or the spooky movie that Clint Eastwood directed which is showing at the Shaker Square? I don't mind discussing this with myself, but it would be much better to be discussing it with a suitable midlife male. Before the movie I am taking the dog trail running in South Chagrin Reservation. Then stopping in Solon to buy a nice bottle of single malt Scotch and some groceries at Mustard Seed. During the week I work in a scientifically oriented job at a large University Circle institution. I live in an old house right up the hill from work. My kids are raised and gone, mostly. I am height and weight proportional 5'6 and enjoy outdoor type stuff. In fact, I just bought a pack and other backpacking equipment and plan to set out on the trail soon. Right now, though, time off is hard to come by because I am in school three nights a week finishing a second degree that will we useful for my career. But the semester will end soon. The sort of guy I see myself with is 45to60ish, single, has at least one degree, is still working, most likely has children and is capable of minor athleticism. In addition to the big, overfriendly dog I have two cats, so cat a cat allergy would be a bad thing. I can't hang around smokers and nondrinkers kinda make me feel odd, because I do enjoy a adult beverages in moderation. If it seems like the right thing send me a note that tells me a little bit about yourself. About as much as I have given away would be about right.
